For what it's worth, I still bought more new balance 373 Nike shoes this year than Jordan (yes, I can differentiate between the two), adidas, PUMA, New Balance, Under Armour and every other brand combined. Come on, a year where Nike brought back the Air Force 1 in remastered form, the Neon Air Max 95, the Air Tech Challenge III, the Presto, the Zoom Hawk Flight and introduced us to the Nike Air Max Zero, the Flyknit Racer Multicolor 2.0, the Kobe 10, the Footscape Magista Flyknit and the LeBron 12 Low was a bad year? Sure, dude& This year brought us more collaborations than I think we've ever seen when it comes to sneakers.
2015 was another banner year for Fieg as he collaborated with multiple brands that include Asics, New Balance, PUMA, Diadora and more to release some exceptional projects. With 2015 coming to an end today we take a look at Ronnie Fieg's Top 10 Collaborations of 2015. Serving as this year's Black Friday was release was this collaboration between new balance minimus Ronnie Fieg and the New Balance 998. The sneaker is a representation of Fieg's upbringing in New York City, and the general mentality associated with living in the "concrete jungle."
As big and powerful as Nike is they probably have this idea that they reign supreme above everyone else. And even though they're right, would it really kill them to new balance 990 put some real effort and give us something creative in order to celebrate one of their most loved and recognized silhouettes of all time? Collaborations have become such a big part of the game it is ridiculous. Seems like every other release is associated with a major (or minor) fashion company. The sneaker culture has become intertwined with so many other different atmospheres and fashion goes hand in hand with the sneaker world. A direct compliment of each other which can't be missed because of the strong relationship which has been developed over time.
A blue upper with red accents and a white midsole are the perfect recipe for a great comfortable sneaker to new balance 1080 lounge in this weekend. Running shoes are not really a trend that needs to die but the hype of retro running shoes is out of hand. The Reebok Pump or the Nike Air Max 90 series is great but it isn't something completely new. Young sneaker heads make retro running kicks like they are the second coming of Tupac. I love the retro runners but not it sucks when even a good pair of New Balances are sold out right away because hypebeasts try to cop them. Nike ID , Miadidas, even New Balance offers a custom sneaker ordering process.
